Our story

Grounded Beginnings: A Promise to Serve Well

Trace Cleaners began in 1994, when Pete and Angela Kestenbaum opened a small family-run shop with a simple goal: provide honest, dependable service the community could truly rely on. There was nothing fancy about those early days, just long hours, careful hands, and a promise to treat every customer like a neighbor.

That genuine approach quickly earned Trace Cleaners a reputation for consistency and care. Instead of flashy ads, the business grew through conversations between friends and families who shared where they felt truly taken care of. A humble shop slowly became a trusted name throughout Ridgeland.

When Troy and Laura Kestenbaum stepped into leadership, they carried forward the same principles they grew up watching their Aunt and Uncle model. They kept intact the heart of the business while thoughtfully introducing modern conveniences, upgraded equipment, expanded services, and free pickup and delivery to better support busy families.

Today, with three location serving Northeast Jackson, Fondren, Ridgeland, Madison and Gluckstadt, Trace Cleaners remains proudly family owned. What has changed is our ability to serve more people. What hasn’t and never will is our commitment to honesty, quality, and showing up for our community with the same dependable care that started it all.
